Online general sale conditions for the Albert Kahn Departmental Museum
The Hauts-de-Seine Department asks you to please read the general sale conditions indicated below, before any purchase.
The online sales website, hosted on the Hauts-de-Seine Department’s servers, was developed by Vivaticket.
All of the site’s content is protected by copyright laws. As such, and in accordance with the provisions from the Intellectual Property Code, the site is only authorized for private use. If not, the transgressor is exposed to legal proceedings in front of the competent court.

Terminology
“Customer” designates any person using the Sales website to order and buy a product.
“Services” designate the offers proposed by the Hauts-de-Seine Department on the Site.
“Product(s)” designate the museum’s entry tickets.
“Website” designates the online sales website from the Hauts-de-Seine Department accessible at the following address https://billetterie.albert-kahn.hauts-de-seine.fr/
Article 1 – Accepting the general sale conditions
The purpose of these general sale conditions is to define the relationship between the Hauts-de-Seine Department (hereafter called the Seller) and the Customer under the framework of online ticket sales (hereafter called the Website).
The Customer acknowledges having read these general sale conditions before validating their order.
The validation of the order represents the full and complete acceptance of these conditions by the Customer.
The applicable general sale conditions are those that are in effect on the day of the order.
The Hauts-de-Seine Department reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time, without notice.
Article 2 – Offers for sale
2-1 - Offers
The Seller is responsible for pricing.
On the Website, the following services are proposed for individuals:
- Tickets for unguided visits,
- Tickets for guided visits,
- Activities,
The number of tickets sold online, per order and person, is limited to 9. The same person can place several orders spaced out over time in order to bypass this rule.
Article 3 – Prices and payment
The prices are indicated in Euros (all taxes included, including VAT at the applicable rate on the day of the order).
The Products are billed on the basis of the prices in effect at the time the order was validated by the Customer. The price indicated during the order and its confirmation is the definitive price.
During the order, the Customer is invited to check that the price of the Products corresponds to the price appearing on the updated Website page and not an expired page to which they could have accessed via a search engine cache.
Article 4 – Payment conditions
4-1 – Payment terms
The payment is made with a bankcard. The accepted payment cards are: debit cards, Visa, Eurocard and MasterCard.
As soon as the payment is accepted, the buyer receives two emails, one summarizing their purchase, the other representing the Customer’s bankcard receipt (to keep and provide in case of a dispute).
In accordance with the banking regulations in effect, banking data is archived for fifteen months as of the transaction date. After this time, the data is destroyed.
The data communicated by the Customer and registered on the Website during the order represents proof of a transaction.
4-2 - Safeguarding payments
The Seller guarantees complete confidentiality of all banking information, safeguarded by the SSL protocol.
The payment is validated according to the 3D-secure norm and after the transaction has been accepted by the Center of Business Processing (CTC) in charge of examining the purchase authorization threshold of the payment card and verifying the list of stolen or lost payment cards. In case of refusal by the CTC, the order is canceled.
The Website uses the Payzen payment platform.
Article 5 – Ticket utilization conditions
The tickets are non-cancelable, non-reimbursable and non-modifiable.
They are personal and non-transferable.
The validity of the ticket is examined and verified at the entrance with the help of barcode readers. During this ticket check, valid proof may be requested in order to justify special rates (free, reduced, etc.) granted for certain tickets. Any person who is not able to present such proof may be refused entry to the site and may not claim any kind of reimbursement of their ticket.
It is impossible to be admitted several times at the entrance with the same ticket. All exits are definitive.
People are prohibited from reproducing, duplicating or counterfeiting their ticket in any way whatsoever or provide it for such purposes.
Article 6 – Ticket exchange conditions
6.1 – Due to the Customer
In application of article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right to retraction does not apply to tickets.
The tickets bought online are non-reimbursable, non-cancelable and non-modifiable even in case they are lost or stolen or forgotten during the visit.
6.2 – Due to the Seller
Due to safety imperatives, the Seller reserves the right to close or modify the museum’s opening hours.
In the event of force majeure, the Seller reserves the right to cancel or postpone a reservation. The Seller will not be held responsible for any non-execution that could have been caused by force majeure (natural disasters, major political events, national strikes, security reasons).
The Seller reserves the right to modify the scheduling of visits, workshops, activities and artistic programming, and replace them with other similar events, when the conditions for said event as planned are not met. If this compensation does not suit the Customer, the ticket will be replaced with a promo code or voucher.
Article 7 - Liability
In accordance with article L.221-15 of the Consumer Code, the Seller is legally responsible in regards to the Customer for the proper execution of the obligations resulting from the contract concluded remotely.
Article 8 – Regulations regarding disputes
These general sale conditions are governed by French law.
In accordance with the provisions of the consumer code regarding “the mediation process for consumer disagreements,” the Customer has the right to appeal to the mediation service proposed by the Department.
The proposed mediator is the European Association of Mediators (AME). In order to file a claim, please contact:

In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.

Article 10 – Data protection
Aware of the value of users’ personal data, the Hauts-de-Seine Department promises to institute trustworthy digital management based on the security of its information systems and personal data protection.
10.1 – Data usage
The use of data is strictly reserved for the service’s operational purposes (order management) under the framework of the online ticket office. The legal basis for processing is the execution of a contract (see article 6.1.b from the European Regulations on Data Protection).
Only the people duly authorized by the Hauts-de-Seine Department have access to the entrusted information. The information entered during the management of your order and billing will not exceed 10 years in virtue of accounting obligations.
10.2 – The right to access and correct information
You can access your personal data, have it corrected or removed. You also have the right to limit the processing of your data.
